The Sixtus Lodge Challenge Course is located at the east end of the Lodge grounds. The Course was constructed many years ago by members of Palmerston North Lions and is still popular with school camps and other groups looking to provide team-building activities and fun games. ​

​​ ​​There is a series of seven structures that can be incorporated into a range of activities that encourage co-operation and problem-solving.

​​ ​​ ​​The original guide book for the Challenge Course is still in use at Sixtus Lodge! It has a number of excellent activities listed. See below. Some equipment (ropes and planks) is provided at Sixtus Lodge but you will also need to bring your own items for some of the activities. Check the guide book for details.
